our old home was boarded up and moved but I'm not sure just where, I was told it had been moved behind the old Aisistenca Mission and that a musium was to be built there too. Is anyone able to confirm this?

I am 5th generation Redlands on my mothers side, our family home, built when my great great grandparent came form Texas on covered wagon, is the home that was located on Redlands Blvd just past the Misson school. The origianl location was Redlands but at some point, I think it was aabout were Walmart went in right down the st., the city line of Loma Linda was moved west changing the location of our home to Loma Linda.
My grandmother was born and raised in this home and as a child we used to visit my great aunt Alma, who was the last of the family to live there, I don't remember when she passed but I think it was in the '60's. In resent years the orange groves that had surrounded it were torn down and my great uncle Harrys little stone house just east of the big house was burnt in a firesation test site, the big house went

Dear Sir or Madam,

Currently my partner and I have a new listing at 126 W. Olive. Which was the winner of your 2002 Heritage Award. My question to you is: Is it registered as a Historical Home with the city or state and are their any restrictions as to the altering of the property? We are being ask this frequently by potiential Buyer's and we would like to be able to direct them to a contact person @ the city that could assist with their questions. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. We understand the importance of teaming with you to get the new owner's to realize the significants of the home to your community.

Thank you,

Eva

I am searching for Julius, Edward, Roy,Mabel and Kate Brousseau who once lived and owned property in Redlands. The time frame would have been around 1900 to 1920. Their father Julius Brousseau was once a famous attorney in Los Angeles. He died in 1903.

Thanks,

James Brousseau
