Redlands Area Historical Society Launches New Website
Welcome to the new RAHS website. This newly developed site will allow us to post historical articles, updates to the events calendar and related material. It will also allow you, our members to comment to article and posts.
The Redlands Area Historical Society has long been involved in preserving and recording history. We made history with the launch of our first website way back on June 10, 2000. Perhaps not a long time for most history buffs, but a long time in Internet years.
The Redlands Daily Facts reported that Liz Beguelin, then president of the RAHS “had been waiting to make High-tech history.” “Announcement of the site came during the 25th annual Redlands Heritage Awards presentation Tuesday at eh Carrage House.”
The site was originally built by Jon Burgess of RedlandsWeb.com, better known as RedFusion Media today. They are proud to still maintain the website 9 years, and hundreds of other websites later.
See the calendar for all programs and meetings, subscribe to our posts in your email, and read about upcoming events. So welcome to the next generation of web use, and your participation and comments are appreciated.
