Your write up at the website has a few errors in it. I have marked it up below.
State Emergency Relief Administration (SERA) money was released to the school district in 1935 to build a Lugonia kindergarten and library complex. Architect G. Stanley Wilson was hired to complete the plans. Wilson’s firm did not included architects Arthur B.Benton and Myron Hunt. These are other Architects that worked on the Mission Inn prior to Wilson. Wilson did the previous plans for the Mission School, Redlands High Girl’s Gym, Redlands Post Office and Riverside projects such as the Mission Inn, Casa de Anza Hotel, Riverside Municipal Auditorium, Annex to Riverside Carnegie Library and many Mission Revival projects.
My Father worked for Wilson and I have been researching his works for several years
I’m not sure who to contact there in regards to a drawing I have of Redlands’ Historical Homes by Jan Mrozinski done in 1982… would the society be at all interested in buying it from me?
Thanks,
Leo

Thanks for your notes!
I drew the historic home map in 1982. The man who wrote the above comment has a print of the original. If the Redlands Historical Society has a place to put it, I will donate the original drawing.

I have a small photograph album that belonged to my grandmother. She and her older sister worked in Redlands probably 1902. This is not a personal album but a very interesting selection of local sites. The pictures have to have been professionally done. There are 31 I believe with one missing. Each is mounted one to a page with gold hearts to secure them. Many are identified with writing in white ink. Starts with a picture of a girl on a mule and ends with the comment under the last picture “Still They Come Es Bastante” This is just a small soft cover album. Sticker inside the back cover says,” Mfd. by the Heinn Specialty Co. Milwaukee Wis. Badger Albums, 03″
I know that this should have a place somewhere it will be kept protected from being stuffed in a box with other ‘old stuff’. Do you have archives that could accept this? I am not selling, it is my intention to donate this unless you have a dozen others and do not desire it.
I hope that I have provided you with enough information so you can decide if this is of value to you.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I’ve been slowly revitalizing our 1890 bungalow for a couple years & although there wasn’t much detail to it when we bought it we have found a few nice things.
We found a ~1920’s decorative tile buried in the backyard along with some painted iron work decorative pieces in the dirt.
While scrapping 7 layers of white & yellow paints off the windows I found that one of my double hung windows has an old mill mark ‘Redlands’ painted on the edge of it. Very cool!
Do you know the identity of the architect who designed the original campus plan for the University of Redlands? It appears from the aerial view that it may have been done by Myron Hunt, but I cannot find any evidence to prove that.
Thanks for your help.
